A person or an organization who wants to conduct a survey of power distribution shall submit three copies of the application form to the Director General with the following details related to the proposed power distribution project in the format as per schedule-4:-
(a) Map of the distribution area (in which the geographical description of the area, the existing distribution system and the preliminary map of the proposed distribution system should also be clearly disclosed),
(b) Objectives and requirements of the distribution system,
(c) Number and type of consumers benefiting from the distribution system,
(d) Point of purchase or receipt of electricity and other details relating to sale and distribution,
(e) Estimated cost and total duration (including survey and construction) of constructing the distribution line,
(f) Other necessary things.
